These cars are single stand alone "well" cars that were designed to take either up to a 48 Ft Container in the lower "well" or take highway truck trailers as well. (Either one long 48 Ft or 53 Ft truck trailer, or two 28 Ft highway trailers.) These are intended to be the "transition" cars as the railroads phase out the 89' "TOFC" flats. Each car comes with a load of some kind.

Each car comes with both "x2f" horn hook couplers, and McHenry magnetic couplers in the box, so you can use whichever couplers you choose.

"HO" cars come with only one container or Highway Trailer, 2nd containers can be purchased seperately to make car into a "double stack". But often you will see these cars with only one trailer or container loaded in the "well".
